  1. Clean floor thoroughly. Remove all dust and particles.
  2. Measure out your faux rug first and tape off.
  3. Start outlining cobblestones in neutral paint colors. Be sure to keep stone shapes varied but similar in size.
  4. Paint your grout or moss (the space in between the cobblestones) with American Accents® Satin Finishes.
  5. Take one stone at a time. Start with a medium toned color using Rust-Oleum® Painter's® Touch Ultra Cover Multi-Purpose Satin Brush-On in Espresso. When paint is still tacky, add your darker shades (of same color) around the edges of the stone using Rust-Oleum® Painter's® Touch Ultra Cover Multi-Purpose Gloss Brush-On in Navy Blue. Then use a lighter shade towards the center of your stone for a highlight. Blend the colors together.
  6. Add a small beetle, butterfly, flower or leaf as a fun finish. Be sure to leave a shadow behind for a true faux effect.
  7. Use Rust-Oleum® Painter's® Touch Ultra cover Multi-Purpose Paint Clear Brush for long-lasting protection and durability.
